Roots Manuva – 4everevolution
I have never been a massive fan of Roots Manuva, he does have the odd great track, but that is as far as it goes for me.
This post has been sitting in my draft for months, as This album gave me no motivation to put fingers to keyboard, but as I'm on a boring train journey I shall.
He is an fantastic lyricist, that's not in question, however the music he raps over is pretty disappointing, I don't know of that's his fault, or a useless producer. I listened twice, and nothing, didn't grab me in the slightest, there isn't even a track I could pick out.
In summary, not one I will be saving.
